Florence says; If I was ever going to help my son, I had to know how he ‘worked'. I also had to figure out what this involved on my part to truly understand him and how to help him survive in a world that he struggled to ‘fit’ into. We then spent many an afternoon sitting together, talking about school, his interests and what happened at school that day so I could ‘help’ him to understand more. Simple idea, however, I found out there would be more to it.
