When we reach out to others in need, we sow the seeds of love. These seeds grow like flowers in a garden, bringing life back to those who have lost hope through the unforeseen circumstances of what life can bring to anyone at any time.
In July 2014 in a Brisbane, Queensland garage two 20-year-old friends, Nic Marchesi and Lucas Patchett, sowed those seeds in their community. They installed a couple of washing machines and dryers in the back of their old van and began to visit parks in Brisbane to wash and dry clothes for the homeless. Their mission was to "improve hygiene standards and restore dignity to people 'doing it tough'...not only do these vans wash clothes, but now also provide mobile showers!” Read about this amazing story of dedication in Wholly Natural Issue #8.
