Kipper is a small dog with big ideas. He knows that when the suitcases appear, it’s all change in his life. Into their gaping maws go his owner’s clothes and belongings. The cat (much to Kipper’s delight) is carted off with little ceremony. And Kipper? He’s left to either the loving attentions of his Aunty Lily or his owner’s children in the city.
As Kipper explores life as a dog in the city, he ponders his place in the world. Through his observations of the sights and smells of the metropolis, Kipper muses on life, the hustle and bustle of urban living, the lengths others go to in order to look good, and the joys of the simple things in life.
