In 2015, I turned 60 and like many of us who create ‘bucket lists", I was longing to start fulfilling some of the many things I’m passionate about! The number one thing on my list was, “clowning” and not just any sort of clowning, but one I had longed to do and with an organisation that is well known around the world and a man that I have admired and respected for his work and his love and generosity to so many. That man is Patch Adams! 

Patch’s energy and his ability, to lead so many diverse, fun-loving clowns from around the world with so much enthusiasm and “heart-centred love” makes one realise that we are never too old to act, do, give, receive and to commit to the passions that we so long to do and often never get around to doing.
